Is your question as to which koi to throw into the mud pond the same as asking which koi we think is the best of the 5?

Personally, I like B. Nicely balanced classic 3-step pattern (which pulls far enough down to the belly) which will grow well into a large fish. I also think B is the fish that has the bodyline most similar to Maruyama.

I would surely agree to PPP, choice B to keep in the mudpond. IMO, B and C have the bloodline of Maruyama.

I like koi E , Good skin quality , nice long body and strong back bone . Not too crazy with the beni on the odome , but when this koi reach 80cm-90cm
it won't matter ....
