true but internet also helped us busted these scams. so it works both ways I guess. besides, many legit business blossom with the internet. just the little stupid criminals who try to make some quick bucks.

Boy are we getting cynical or what? One can't blame the internet for fools, all it does is give them a wider audience to play to.

I prefer to thank the internet for giving me access to so much useful information and introducing me to some really great koi people. Living out in the sticks like I do, it is my main source of information.

Happy Holidays to all on this board and especially to all who have put up with my "dumb" questions and still made me feel welcome.

Mike

The English language is often more subtle in connotation than we appreciate. It creates words, adopts words from other languages and ascribes new meanings to existing words at an astonishing rate. This is the first I've seen "to cull" mean "to sell", particularly with the adjectives used in the Ebay listing. I guess it is in keeping with the practice of teens to ascribe meanings to words that are the opposite of the conventionally understood meaning, such as "bad" meaning "good", etc. When you understand our Sarasota friend's tendency to use terms to mean the opposite of the conventional meaning, his posts take on an entirely different flavor. ....one that may be more accurately understood by the likes of myself.
