Beuaty is in the eye of the beholder. This is one of our dogs Sumi. My wife thinks she is beautiful. The only truth I find is that she is a dog.

Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year to you all - I have learned so much from all of you, and my koi and I truly appreciate it. This dog - Cocoa - was a beautiful, ancient soul right up until the moment she died three weeks ago, and were she here today, she would be waiting for me to check on the pond before we go to bed. I hope all of you, during this season, have someone or some animal that loves you as much as she loved me, and I loved her.

A wonderful memory. The most noble soul I ever knew was a deceased boarder collie. Still hurts to think of her as gone, but what memories. I started this post as "Truth Through Beauty", but there is truth too in pure, uncomplicated love. Not romantic love. The love of a pet. The love of a Parent for their child. These are the things we should fill our lives with.
