HGTV and the Winkler Pond

Hey Bob,

Have they nailed down when your build will be on HGTV??? This is a very exciting time for hobbyist and a must see.........................................sure don't want to miss it!!

The final taping "reveal" was this past Monday....Tile is now done, decorations and Mural much further along... was gonna pull up the gift showa this coming week ( the rumor is that a visitor from texas might be coming LYM Eddie!) and take a pic of her and measure... She seems bigger...and then post all the last pix... several new things that might be of interest, including the barrier fence, storage units, and sound control ....The HGTV latest is that it will be februaryish.. much earlier than anticipated.. They told me Monday they will know final date after the holidays...I will post the date for sure when I know, but they did say it would probably be like 630 or 730 on a Saturday morning Can you say Tivo? ...Thnx for asking

That Showa BETTER be bigger by now, living in paradise and all! Can't wait to see new pictures...take a couple of the pups too, please? The Christmas pic of them was just precious! I just love those dogs - when are they coming to visit me?

I was at Bob's home during part of the taping. At one point Bob got a little wet. I sure hope it makes the final cut. I tried at all costs to stay off camera since I am a relative newbie Koi Kichi and didn't want to be mistaken for a pro! Should be a cool episode!!

I didn't run into him. It was a atd bit chaotic. I consider my self a failry knowledgeable Koi Kichi but I have a long journey ahead of me.

Just be carefull what you watch on HGTV ( except for Bobs pond ) and you'll be ok Dan.

The entire show is going to be about the construction of Bob's pond. They filmed off-and-on for months, each phase of the build. I think it's pretty encouraging, frankly - a whole half-hour about a proper koi pond!
