Danichi Sanke - Opinions Please
6 year old female. 78cm. What do you think??? It is said this fish has not been fed color enhanced foods also.

Sue,
Any chance of a better pic where the water isn't rippling around the fish? What I can see is the fish looks to have a great body. My only concern is that at 6 yrs old, the sumi doesn't seem to be tight and as deep as what I would hope. Maybe the fish is still developing.

Nope sorry!! This is all I can get for the moment. To me the fish looks like it might be breaking down. Look at the kiwa and sashi??? Sumi still coming up maybe, but the fish is already 6 years old. I would think it would be more finished unless this bloodline finishes later. Not familiar enough with Danichi I'm afraid. Yeah, she has a very good body. Face is nice as well.

hi Sue, do you have a better picture? it looks like the sashi is a little messy but that could be the distortion from the water. other than that, it looks really, really, really nice. body, color, hi and sumi in the right places. bag it and ship it!

She comes highly recommend for "future". If she was younger I wouldn't hesitate. I guess what concerns me most is her age. This fish is being offered as a replacement for the Marusei Kohaku that was lost.

Sue,
As you said the kiwa and sashi are a concern as well. Sankes are my favorites. It's a nice fish, yes, but I would pass on it. It just doesn't jump out. Just my own humble opinion.

Sue I think that we all kind of have the same opinion....the K & S on the 2nd and 3rd hi plates looks rough...even you think it might be breaking down and that was my 1st thought when I brought up the pic.

For what the fish is probably worth....
