maruyama tosai

Hi all.What do you guys think of these tosais and which is the best of the lot?I'm sorry if the pics aren't too clear.Hi russell.

These Maruyama dont look to be from the Kagura Bloodline, they resemble more the Sensuke side...I like the body lines of the fish and shiroji looks okay..

Sorry Michael, these aren't Maruyama's best stock and definitely not Kagura line.

Hi. I have seen the real fish form this batch and the photos do no justice at all. The skin quality in real life is actually pretty amazing.

Shiroji is definitely good. The beni is thick, smooth and 'glows'. I myself have already picked one from this batch after viewing in person.

I guess the hardest thing with dealing with pics is the "quality" of them. Generally tosai regardless of the bloodline or breeder have to show the soft look which is hard to capture in photographs. Good luck on you purchase and fill us in from time to time on the going ons with the fish.
