Momotaro Tategoi Auction in February

Thought everyone would like to see some very high class nisai that will be in auction in February. These koi are some of there top nisai Sanke and Kohaku. Enjoy! There are a few pages missing, but I'll try to figure it out.

Rob

P.S. The following is from Momotaro Koi Farm
We kept these koi in mudpond and never feed color food so they not really
showing their best qualities(colors) yet. These koi are the accurate meaning
of our Tategoi. Many of them are not finish yet at all but have big
potential for future.

Very nice.

If I could afford them, which I can't, I'd take #7 Kohaku & #20 Sanke.

I saw them a few weeks ago and just looking at them was enough to want to sell all my fish . I did pick up a couple of males a kohaku and a sanke which is 55cm one day I hope to be able to afford to bid at auction as some of the very best are there . No wonder they go out of our price range ;
Regards
Eugene

Nice!

Can I have Sanke #2, #5, #19, #23 and #51? I have no way of paying for them though.

Very nice.

Sure Russ! I'm sure if you said Pretty Please with wasabi on it, Maeda san would donate them to the Russ Peters Foundation for wayward koi!

Query: How many Goshiki have to hatched, and how many tosai ponds used, to have three Tancho Goshiki with the bodies of the three being auctioned 18 months later?

When I asked on seeing them in the auction pond I was told by Daisuke that they do not breed tancho but get a few every year so those 3 probably came from same pairing and about 100,000 fry .
In my batch of 90 tosai there are 4 tancho but the best one is a Tancho Goshiki and hopefully will turn out like one of the 3 . I did not see any other goshiki tosai but there are so many ponds in so many greenhouses . I will look at some photos and see if I can spot any more .
Regards
