Thanks! I don't mean to dis Momotaro as I think think they have great champion koi and hope to one day get a kohaku from them. But I would be very surprised if the laced shoes that Maeda-san is wearing in the 2nd photo has been in the de-contamination fluid. Those "kicking" rubber boots, I can believe.

- Wayne, wants to also one day have some of Momotaro's beef barbeque. Every photo of him has him either holding a koi, a cigarette, or cooking beef. Makes me hungry.

That is an understatment , I walked along the ponds to the large one at the very end . My camera lens was steamed up so could not take photos . Then it happened 5 fish came up all at the same time they looked 4ft long to me .Not wanting to exagerate I made the remark that they were all over a meter long . Adam corrected me that only 2 were over a meter and the others very close . The big kohaku was Bently . I did get a photo later but there were just 3 fish came up and it is difficult to show size with a photo .
Regards
Eugene

The babies are doing great and I think that I will see a few Jumbo from them that is if I do not go broke with heating and feeding them . I will have a better idea when they get pulled from mud pond next year . I am hopeing to get the sanke to 90 cm over the next few years . you will have to drop by .
