Odd... It was fine yesterday when Shawn initially posted the photos. Later in the evening, after I got home, I could not see the photos on my computer, but my wife could see them on hers! Same shared internet line, two different computers. Now, I can see them again here at home.

Hmmm... I'll ask Shawn to post them again using a link from our web site. Hopefully that will work for everyone.

I have the pictures now. I am by no means in the catagorie of knowing about future development of fish as many on this sight are. I am just a koi lover. However I think it well be fun to watch the development in the head area the next year or so.

Nice! The first shiro appear to have a different type of sumi than the second one. Is the first type of sumi called kage sumi? Will sumi eventually fill in like the second one?
