Looking good Marie I was just surprised no one had mentioned photo shop because it has pretty much become the standard art program for artists and or graphic work

It's also a really expensive program that not many people have. Paint is free....so more than likely many of us will use that.

Thanks Cody

Yeah, Photoshop is used alot for graphic work, but I'm not so happy with the sight unseen effects while I'm working in it. I want to see what I'm doing to the image at the moment I do it. But I guess it's all about what one is used to using. I've got more years in Corel than Adobe so it's easier for me. For finishing for publication and printing though, I do use Adobe in the end processes...

Ayup, the programs can be expensive--the Corel Suite was around $700 when I started with it. But if you want a real steal on graphics programs like Photoshop and Painter X, go to eBay. I bought myself Corel Painter X for Christmas for under $50....

If Paint is all you have, use that. Then, if you want, send it to me and I'll finish off the rough edges in Corel for you like Papa Bear's.

I'll let nature take it's course on my fish...with tosai I have come to learn not to expect much. If it turns out, better. If it doesnt, there was no expectations.

This program does absolutely everything Photoshop does, in almost the exact same way - and it is free.

I've been using it ever since a crash and I lost my old version of Photoshop. No-one needs to spend hundred$$$.
