Momotaro tosai

I asked Mr Maeda on prices at the tosai auction so he picked a fish from his ginrin 07 Japan show winner tosai as an example . This would go for about $1000 .
I did get some from the ones shown .
Regards
Eugene

Not this time I just get a batch and grow them out keeping the best for myself managing to break even with my hobby but improving the quality and my knowlege cost of heating here so expensive that I need to fill my 8000 gal indoor pond . Would have been lower cost in basment but got evicted from there as had a lot of small flies that appeared . I hope to be able to afford some nisai which I will keep in Japan eventually .
I have a question for you . Are the 2 bugregars yours?
Regards
Eugene

The 2 budgies are mine, I paried them up several months ago...The male started throwing nesting material out this past weekend, so we will see what goes from there.

Do you have any Budgies Eugene?

Not to be to nosy BUT who buys $1000 fish 1 year old fish? You aren't a dealer, are you? The fish are very nice (especially the gin) but I know very few in So Cal that go that high on tosai.

The US market for these fish is very small and some of the tosai are extremely good . All the top fish go to Asia . This year might be good for buying might be a better investment than the DOW which will drop at least 500 tomorrow . I am not a dealer as I will not sell my best fish besides there is no market in Canada and too much trouble to sell to US . So I have found the best way to get rid of fish is to wholsale to dealers which has to go through books which you can write off as a financial loss . Hopefully I have enough capital gains .
Now if I had the money I would buy some of these tosai raise them in my mud pond for 5 years and sell them in 5years to anyone that wants a champion in the US . As it just might be a buyers market
Regards
Eugene

The DOW will probably drop another 10% before it stops.
