You've all just witnessed what happens when a larger group of people get in any group.
And it should be addressed BEFORE it goes to what happened.
So for the next contest...if you're in your money is in.
You are owed what everyone else is owed.
Should some personal aspect modify your "in"-ness then you can find someone to stand in for you..it will be YOUR responsibility, not the Grow-out Sargent-of-arms.
He however can veto any action that does not have the vital fiber of fair play....and in that case the money (already sent) becomes prize money.
