I sure like the whites-especially on the first one. Nice choice; I'm not sure if they are short. You will know by next year.

Very nice shiro, Kris! I especially like the first one....should be a contender in a few years. Heck, the way the sumi is finishing, it might be even sooner than that! Any guess on the sex of these two koi? Good job on the selection of these two tosai. Does Mike have anymore shiro like these hidden at his farm?

Hi Lam,

I lurk here a lot but haven't done much posting.

Mike Hammock, the breeder, feels both are very probably female, but they're too young to know for certain. Mike has a lot of shiro hidden at his farm! I selected these 2 from a number of choices.

The body is fine on those two koi not to worry. Whats the name of the farm or dealer and does he have a website ? Just curious to see what he has I have enough utsuri in my QT when I pick up 3 for the grow out plus 4 more in there now. One of them is my avatar not too shabby.

Louie and Steve,

Hammock Koi Farm is located in Rutledge, Tennessee. Mike does have a website and I'll PM it to you (I don't know the rules about listing websites on the forum and I don't want to cross any lines). Give him a call if you don't see exactly what you want - that's what I did.

Chris,

You know that you're always welcome to pay a visit! Looks like another big storm is headed straight for us this weekend. It sure makes it hard to keep quarantine tanks warm (I'm picking up additional heaters tonight). I'm ready for spring!

Mike is located in Tenn. Here are some other shiros from Hammock Koi Farm. His oyagoi are Omosako. He also produces nice yamabuki from Izumiya parents.
