UC Davis KHV testing

Hi All,

I just came back from a class on Sunday from UC Davis, and they will soon be doing KHV testing (both ELISA and PCR) within the next couple of months. This is very exciting news for us here on the west coast! Even for dealers that use to not check will have the availability of Veterinarians to help with the process which in turn is a win win situation for both dealers and hobbyists.

Will do Don. I've been trying to get something like this done for a while from someone that I met who works at UC Davis as a pathologist and I think there will only be good to come out of this program.

Hey Mike,

Not only for people up here, but for all the people who are having to send samples all the way to Georgia will have another avenue.

So you are the one responsible for setting this up?

Was there anywhere here that I am implying that I am responsible for this?

Absolutely, your wrote " I've been trying to get something like this done for a while....".
It implies you had a hand in it. You should reread what you wrote.

I reread what I wrote, and I said that I've been talking to a pathologist from UC Davis and have been trying to get KHV testing done here so that we don't need to send to Georgia. I still don't get why you are trying to dicredit anything that I've been posting. If you really have a problem with me, why don't you just give me a call and we can iron things out, rather than trying to slander my integrity. All I've gotten from you so far is negativity.

What are you getting your panties in a bunch for? You are the one that posted the information and by saying that you have been trying to get this done in the same breath as annouincing the program, I found it to be confusing. I was just asking for clarification.

BTW, I am never, ever negative. Always positive.
