Online koi photo contest

I'll play. My photos are not good & she fought being netted (fast bugger) and slightly damaged a fin. Who knows if Ill ever do this again! She is a year old this spring. Purchased in September at 6" - now 10"

anyways- this is our butter. Its hard to capture how soft she is. In her photos her scales shine & appear darker than she is in the pond.

Okay Lam, I promised to support your endeavor so here are a few pics of one of my newer additions. Purchased from Sakai Isawa in January 2007 as ake Sansai and 24". Grown out in mud pond for the summer and returned here in November '07. When benched, she is now 73cm or 29". The first two pics are when she was purchased and the last pic is, unfortunately, a shot "in pond". It was raining the day I took her from the q-tank to the pond as well as the day she arrived home. I will not take this fish out of the pond, just for a beauty pose. This will have to do.

no offense to Ken but I would vote for the Koi Coach to be the judge for this event since he's a regular contributor to this forum. I realize Ken is probably the one who's providing the prizes. Haven't see my fish for over a week let a long taking some pictures but I can't wait to bowl them and take some photos.

Steve, I think you have it all wrong.. Ken Tran contributes to this koi board more than most. everytime you see that banner that says enkoi.com he contributes. And what would Ken know about judgeig a fish, He has sold how many GC koi, that he himself has picked?
