| The biggest koi show here in Cali would probably be San Diego(indoor) or Gardena(outdoor)...I think this year Gardena isnt going to be as big as last years. The trade show you would probably have to go to the one in Vegas sponsured by that one magazine. |

I think the largest show for vendors would be Koi America and then San Diego. If you want to see the most koi at a show, It would be San Diego and Zna Socal. The most bang for your buck would be San Diego inside show, lots of vendors & Koi. | |

| The largest trade shows (for Koi) that I have been to have been at the San Diego show, Koi America (both already mentioned) but also some (not all) of the AKCA seminars. Then there is the Orlando show which also has a very large number of vendors (and a growing show) Steve

| For 2008, East of the Mississippi, I think the Central Florida Koi Show (Orlando, March 7-9) will be the largest. We will not know the number of entries in the show until it happens. It is set up to have 41 show tanks, with another 11 available if needed. We've sold out the vendor spaces: 39 vendors attending. There are 15 koi dealers/breeders, a couple of goldfish dealers, 8 with pond supplies/filters, 4 with just koi food, plus artists, aquatic plants, bonsai, Japanese-style granite garden statuary, and more. Plus, a full day of seminars on Saturday, including a live judging seminar. Let us hope other shows in the East grow bigger and better... in the ways their organizers desire. I'd love to see the Orlando show continue to grow, but be only the third or fourth largest in the East. |
