Sakai Hiroshima Gosanke Oyagoi 2007

2 a day... it's going to take many days

These pictures are scanned from the SFF-Hiroshima catalogue on their 2007 gosanke pairings.

Nozomi & Shining Rose

Offsprings of Wakashoryu male and Shining Rose have been quite outstanding. I think this pairing has the potential to take over the original Wakashoryu as the dominant sanke line in SFF in due time.

Big Rose & Tsukitsuke Rose

The sanke offspring from the male Wakashoryu and Big Rose pairing is pretty good, but light on sumi. Tsukitsuke Rose is one of the best kohaku oyagoi at SFF.

Great thread. It's both entertaining and informative -- and will make a wonderful reference thread when completed.

Thank you and keep up the good work.

New Symbol & Tomahawk

Tomahawk debut as SFF oyagoi in 2006 and her offspring in Oct 07 auction is, IMO, pretty outstanding. Its (offspring) hi quality isn't quite up there with the best from the Rose bloodline (not that I'm complaining), but body conformation is 1st rate.

Benibana Daioh & Wakashoryu

Benibana Daioh is one of the most beautiful oyagoi at SFF, worthy of the name Benibana. However, its offsprings have yet to shine in koi shows.

Wakashoryu is the pride and joy of SFF and the current dominant sanke line. Enough said of its value to SFF.
