| A 'three' colour fish always trumps, a two color, except for a Kohaku My opinion is that a well proportioned truly excellent quality three colour fish will always trump an equally superior two colour fish. Even a perfect shiro utsuri.
The possible exception is the extraordinary koi which Dale Torok and I have joined in partnership and purchased and now have imported which is an extraordinary 'huge' absolutly breathtaking Kohaku from Sakai in Japan which we plan on showing through-out the mid-west this year...
This once in a lifetime Kohaku from Sakai may be the most impressive fish in both the enormity of it's size, its perfect pattern and the overall balanced confirmation in the USA today.
Sakai, said that in his opinion she will be the most wining of koi in the USA in the foreseeable future.
Dale is in charge and is taking care of this fish in a pond in Kentucky. He says, without question, she should be ready to be shown through-out the mid-west, Chicago, Minnesota, etc...as Winter turns to Spring.
