Koi Pins

If you are a koi pin collector and coming to the Central Florida Koi Show (or have a friend who is coming), be sure to look for Gregor Meijer. He is an artist from the Netherlands who will have a booth at the show. He is bringing several sets of pins from the 2007 Holland show for trading. Bet they do not get many pins in the Netherlands from local U.S. shows. You probably have an extra of a pin Gregor will find exciting to get. Good things in small packages.

Thx for the info -- ZNA NorCal has few koi pin collectors... One of them will be attending the CFKS koi show.... I will make sure he will get some for me as well;-))

The NVN produced a collection of 13 pins last year 1 for each of the original 13 Show Classes. Very subtle, just the koi ,no text or anything else, about an inch in length. You could get them as cuff links, and necklaces as well. I wonder if these are the ones he's brining .

These were in addition to their show pin , of which there were two versions and they produced the Koi Trek pin for 2007 as well.

Bern: I don't know. He said he was bringing 'several sets' of pins he had gotten from the show chairman. Hmmmm..... I should have asked for clarification, but did not know enough to ask.

If my memory serves me well, believe that Bern does not have a numbered ZNA Nor Cal Show pin. There were only 150 made, each were numbered from 1 to 150.
I will be there and will have pins to trade, so look me up.
