Thanks. If you feel that way about ALL my posts/inputs, which I think you read all 7000+ then I would ask you to PM the moderator or owner of the board to delete all of my post/input so I can start from the beginning. I read through my post on this thread, which I jokingly said something, then corrected myself to give you an answer. Anyways, since you cant give us firm info of the breeder of this fish then I cant give you a straight answer of this variety, but I would have to say like I said before BENI KIKOKURYU. You have a great day and please dont read my post/input if it brings you much pain.

You are WAAAYYYY out of line with this post. Your second post on this board was a plug for your business which I edited out and let slide and then in your 7th post ever you decide to tell the person that has contributed the most to this board that he degrades the quality of it. I really hope you turn it around fast.

For us it was a gamble to buy such a variety, because we are truly Go Sanke addicts, and I think we never gamble on such a variety again but you'll never know...

The other photo is from the parents..it was then in 2006 a new variety from SFF.

Hi Ingrid,
Thanks for shedding light on this matter. Do you know Koionline? How did he get a photo of your koi? Was he your dealer? Anyway thanks

Hi JN

I first had to identify myself before I got a positive reply. When I did so and referred to a non commercial forum thousands of kilometers away(South Africa) the link was deleted saying that I advertise for free. It was definately not my intention, hello, I am in South Africa.

Be that as it may, I finally got replies from Antonio saying:

1 Sarcastically that it is a Kigoi
2 Sarcastically that I forgot to mention a Kigoi is single coloured
3 If I am a dealar, I should know what variety it is.

Wow, what a great positive input!

If a new member like me gets this type of initial repsonse on a forum, he will probably go elsewhere for help.

Looking at his other inputs, he is a huge asset to this forum, but hey, be honest, did I get a valuable decent positive response from him?

So that is where the saying comes from. "We are living in three different worlds"

USA, Netherlands, South Africa, miles apart...

Yea, we all speak different languages, are in total different time zones, but the Koi has got only one language.
I am Afrikaans speaking (derived from the Netherlands) and most of the Afrikaans speaking people from South Africa originally derives from the Netherlands, because they were the first white people to settle in South Africa.
Jy sal my egter nie verstaan as ek Afrikaans praat nie, alhoewel jy ‘n paar woorde sal verstaan.
Thanks for the input on the Koi and have a lovely day. (Our day has only started now.)

Your Kin Kikokuryu is stunning!

Paul.
The photo of your Koi has enough glare from the water that it almost gives it a "watercolor" appearance. That does make it difficult to pin down what it truly is, but you've been given some likely options. The photo's of Indgrid's fish are much easier to see detail from.
BTW, most of my pictures have the same problem
As to Antonio's joking reference to "kigoi", if you had been reading around for the past few days you would know there is currently a bit of a running joke revolving around "kigoi", which is the only reason he dropped that line in. You didn't get the joke, so he clarified and gave you a REAL answer. You pursued NOT getting it, and decided that you as a newcomer with questions somehow had the authority to tell him (a far more knowledgeable poster than you are ever likely to be) that HE and his posts somehow degrade and diminish this forum.
If I came to your home, told you the paint was ugly, the furniture sucked, said you are an idiot for living there, and by the way, whatever you are cooking for dinner smells nasty, you MIGHT not invite me back. That is basically the way you acted toward Tony and JN.
This is a great board, with members from around the world including S.A. and the Netherlands. You can learn a lot here, but you haven't earned the right to tell anyone how to run this forum.
