The All Japan koi shows.

I wonder if there is a book / magazine anywhere that shows pictures of all the ZNA, Shinkoikai and Wakagoi koi show GC winners with a little bit of background info on each of the koi and it's breeder, owner etc

I know Ray Jordan did a superb thread on another forum on the ZNA AJS and have all this info saved on my PC but was hoping the info was out there for the other shows.

any info on wether any of the organisations did this?

I know the ZNA and Shinkokai has magazines/books that covers each years show, but I dont think there is a book out there that has every year of the shows.

Wow...that would really cover a lot of time and ground. I have most of the Shinkokai All-Japan books from over the years, but a single compilation would involve a lot of work and be hugely expensive. I think the best that you could hope for would be an online collection of the shows. Even in that form, it would take a while and be a work in progress for quite some time.

I am not aware that Shinkokai or anyother orgainization has put together a book on their All Japan Show Grand Champions. I have gathered much of this information including photos and at least basic infor on size, breeder, owner, and for some additional details. I have been wanting to put it all together in a thread similar to the one on the ZNA All Japan SHow GC but have just not had the time.

We are busy getting ready for a visit from Megumi Yoshida and Mamoru Nagasaki (Yohei Koi Farm) in two weeks for our clubs annual spring seminars and koi sale event. Also we have a new puppy that has been a been taking a lot of our spare time.

Koiboi31,
I am looking forward to my 1st visit to S. Africa and your National show in May. Hope I get to meet you on that trip.

Thanks for the replies,

Certainly would be a lot of information in one place and that is exactly how i like to see it. I spent a lot of time in 2007 putting together a complete history of the BKKS National and it is really hard work.

Ray's post on the ZNA winners was fantastic and kept me entertained for about a month while he posted a GC winner on a daily basis - i look forward to him doing the same for the Shinkokai AJS.

Ray,

You have PM.

Hey Mark, have your ever thought of putting the whole thing into one video? I know alot of people would love to add it to their collection.

Tony.

£5 to download it all, and make your own DVD if you want, or £20 to buy a premade DVD of it all?

Mark

No probs, don't create a DVD, just watch it from your computer in high definition as often as you like.

My blog is updated, on average, with more than one post each day, invariably including some pics from around the area.
