thanks for that steve. i was going to ask about if both reds come out casue i was wondering if it came from a different line or what.
youve just confirmed something i noticed today whilst feeding.
the persimmon female that looked really orange to me in the old shots came up for some food today and i could see so much difference in her. she looked better in her markings and her red was better.
those dark red fish look desirable only for the depth of red. the way the patches are they are pretty poor so i can now know why they get culled.
these are all the little things i dont know so its a great help to ave them explained like that. cheers mate.
i had a guy visit the farm at feeding time too that told me he had some fish from us 5 years ago and he says he has somne really red ones with nice patches. so im gonna go see his fish someday to see what he means and see if they are any good.
one time i went to see some guys fish casue he said his dads fish were worth ten grand or something like that and that they were black koi, turns out they were mainly bronze goldfish!!
i half built a ten thousand litre pond today to keep an eye on some hopefuls,
i used coppers logs as posts and will be using cool room panels as walls then line it. now ill be able to see em easy and take pics as they develop so i get a good idea on what happens.
