was talking with a friend last night who owns a salt water aquarium store and we both weren't comfortable about what bacteria are exclusive to salt and what are to fresh water.
The topic came up when an established salt water tank was emptied and converted to fresh. Did all the bacteria die in the filter? or can some "cross over"....I honestly didn't know for sure? thoughts
