Why do we need to continue to add bacteria to a pond once it is established with bacteria? Wouldn't it just keep reproducing? What is the benefit of continuous adding? TIA

Ahhhhhhh, who said to add any? I never plan to add any. No reason to.

The instructions say to add every couple weeks so I know their motivation but my neighbor also swears by it and his water is crystal clear.

I dont know off hand and at work right now but I know I have seen that on several bacteria products, so there is no need to add, ever?

I use to add stuff like that, but found out later that my filter was under sized...I added more filteration and now I no longer need to waste money on Bacteria in a Bottle.

Waste of money. Spend it on upgrading your filtration -- if necessary.

I have a pondmaster pressurized 4000 gal with a UV with a pump that gives it about max flow. I also have a green barrel bio filter. My pond is about 3000 gallons. Am I good. About 15 koi average 10 inches.
