can someone confirm with Shigeru if Dainichi will be marketing their own koi food? i think i heard there was talk of this during the All Japan. if so, get some details as to ingredients and availability in the US? i forgot to ask him last month.

Yes he is starting to manufacture his Dainichi food. It will be exported to the USA hopefully in about 1 year... Permits to export and import koi food, is a very long process, lot of paperwork.. If one word is incorrect the container will not be released shipment has to return to Japan, or Burned and a USDA facility..

I beleive the name wil be Dainichi Mano-san With this writing included on the bag

Food was good. Pleanty for all. Site was comfortable. Program ran smoothly. Thanks to EN Koi for putting on this seminar. Many koi went home with happy new owners. There were pleanty of pictures and information, Judging contest and a raffle. It was interesting to see Mano san ponder his response to questions.

here are a few from the seminar, there where 60 hobbiest in attendance, it was an extremely hot day, but we all had a great time. I wll post some more photos tomorrow, got to get ready to go to dinner, taking Mano-san out for his last night in town.
