I had a friend a decade or so go into production with one. It was ok with steady barometer but very unreliable during storms. Wait till someone has one up and running when they get an unexpect pond spawn. Foam like you've never seen before but you'll be grateful you had one on.....

JR you can run but y'cant hidde

The insult is almost beyond words, but when you see where its coming from what more is there to expect.
Seriously JR although i have no idea of who you are or what you look like, words you have written has often made me grin and make suffocating sounds. That must be taken into account in your favour. Keep up the interesting writing.

Minimum amount are CL-3 3t/h CL-10 10t/h CL-25 25t/h CL-50 50t/h, bellow this there have been problems with smooth running a function.
With given amount + you must have a valve to throttle the unit down to correct level before “scrape” I will be killed if I don’t “ “ it they really don’t like that simple expression. I off course accept that there will be a pressure drop above, but that’s for me just the nature of hydrostatic backpressure and free air connection.
I still love my box version of trickle/foam and what ever unit (lover section gives possibility for UV , O3 or simple air after foam outlet

US Price?

Is there any site with the UK retail price? When I talked with the foam inventor last I mentioend that it was a bit steap.

By the way I do strongly believe of removal of DOC both as unsolved and solved as foam, I had many long discussions with Steinar Joneid by his pond in 1998-2001 over the subject.

.

Also, can it be hooked up after an Ultima II? If the flow rate is too high, can a side stream be taken from the Ultima II discharge for the device, the rest of the filtered discharge going straight to the pond?

I put in a side stream and in it I have bareroot grasses which is run from my skimmer . I found by doing this I do not need a fractionator . I wonder if we spent more money on exchange of water if it would not be better for fish . The best filtration practiced for thousands of years fish keeping is flow through . Of course most do not have the water to do so hence more and more gadgets more cost and maintanance . All because our state of the art ponds are not really suitable for keeping fish in . Koi need at least a few inches of mud to siphen through at least part of the year . That is why they were born with wiskers and they put them out into mud ponds for the summer in Japan to recover mostly .
So in my opinion at least give the poor things a little more exchange of water instead of perfect expensive clarity which they do not appreciate .
As I see it
Regards
Eugene
