As hard as it may be I think you will have larger, healthier Koi this way. Maintenance must be a lot easier as well.

A nice group of koi. Your Asagi is certainly eating well... and looks to have sharp contrast, clean head. How long is she?

Mike I hope it's a she ? I measured her last year at 23 " , I bought her from the Orlando show 3 yrs ago as a tosai from Blackwater , by far may favorite of the bunch. The Sanke and Showa are from Brady the Kohaku is from Kiefer ,and the Chag is from a grow out contest last year he's going to be a monster.
