I also noticed an increase in foaming around the waterfall area. That's why I'm very interested in either a shower filter or one of the clarity units. It seems to be worse when the ambient temp is several degress +/- the pond temp. Right now, water is warming slightly and nighttime temps are finally started to warm as well. This has reduced the foam by 80-90%. For me, it seems to be a seasonal effect. I know, it's still caused by DOCs/TDS. Thats why I want to know which would be the best route to go before adding something and wasting my time.

Don, I too am anxious. HURRY UP DAMN IT!!

If you get a unit like KoiCop's Carrie, it would be too pretty to hide.

Frank will be installing the Cetus sieve and the Clarity TT/FF.

He came by this morning, took some measurements, figured out both installs, made a list and will be back Monday morning with a work crew.

The Clarity install will be simple. The Cetus won't; it will involve jacking out the existing gravity flow sump/vortex (which is encased in solid gunite). Then he'll build a larger/deeper one that will flow to the sieve then on to the pump &/etc.

Will take lots of pix.

I was referring to the future GC that I figure you must have ordered...

- Really like the Cetus sieve. Seems like it took a long time for that technology, yet when you see it, you can't understand why these haven't been in use for a long long time. (maybe they have, and I just don't have a clue)
