with mine, I take them to the local petshop and he gives me cash for them. Last year I sold a very ugly specklegoi for $50 that was around 10 inches.

Any of your culls would make my fish look like dog poo. Let me know if you have anymore you are getting rid of and wouldn't mind shipping my way. I'd be more than willing to learn from them!

I think I would have had to PAY most people to have taken this one off my hands!

Ethan, your petshop owner would wet himself if her ever saw one of Michaels culls
Just keep selling your fuglies off like you have been and upgrading the collection Maybe in a few years you can invite him over to see what REAL Koi look like

You Guys Are Too Kind. I Bought So Much Or Too Much Koi In My First Year When I Got My Pond Done. Thinking That I Would Be Able To Raise A Gc In My Own Pond Save On Big Bucks But I Was Wrong. This Is A Very Valuable Learning Experience. For Koi Keepers Who Wish To Grow Out Some Nice Nisai We Should Keep The Stocking Rate Low 1000 Gal To A Fish. I Hope To Grow Out Two Kohaku From Russ A Matsunosuke And A Maruyama To At Least 24 To 25 Inches This Coming Season. They Are About 16 To 18 At 2 Years Old.

Okay a little off track

Micheal how much do you plan on feeding them to get that kind of growth? At those lenghts you are talking about a lot girth in addition to the inches. Are they in with your general population, or do you have them in a separate pond where you can better insure how much you are feeding them?
