Anybody heard from Lynda Pope since the storms last night???

She was on KoiShack about 4:30 this afternoon.

Larry, how sweet of you to ask. We're fine, storms all went north of us. All we got was a little small hail and 1/2 inch of rain. Nothing like the storm that hit us in mid-April with the baseball-sized hail, 7 inches of rain and tornado warnings. That one is costing our insurance company about $30,000! Why, oh why did I leave Southern California?????

Just watched on the Weather Channel a story about Van Buren............................ looks like a fair bit of damage .

Bill, that was Van Buren County, not the City of Van Buren. Strange factoid about Arkansas, county and city names rarely match. I'm in Crawford County. Van Buren County is east of here quite a bit.
