A few opinions please...new koi!!!

I have these three new koi, and I'd like some opinions. The first is an 8inch gin shiro utsuri from BWC. The second is a kin ki showa..I don't plan on keeping it, but I wanted some opinions. I have little experience with this variety...came from BWcreek as well.
The third is a new kujaku I purchased today. Came from Toyoma...probably bred by Igarashi (not 100%sure). This kujaku is about 6 inches. Thanks for the help as always!!

Kin Ki Showa - Are you sure of the variety ?

Kujaku - Already is showing a dirty head at that age .

I don't know how I'd feel about a ki showa, i am a big fan of theirs when it comes to their doutsu and wagoi blue fish

I have a soft spot for Kujaku, but the start of head smudges does bring me back to reality The Shiro looks pretty smudged up and the skin has zero luster to it. Hope it is just the pic and not the fish.
As far as the Ki showa goes, they are a curiosity, but I'm going to have to see some gosai+ fish that look killer before I go for one. I have a kanoko ki bekko that has the same weakly dappled look to it, and it just ain't workin' for me.

Yellow

Yellow is a very difficult color to accomplish in koi. It usually becomes orangish. A pale pumpkin orange is considered pretty good for Ki Utsuri, but is not a pure yellow. Young Ki Utsuri can have a decent yellow, although usually it is muddled with grayish undertones. As they mature, the orange creeps in. The best yellows are found in Yamabuki and Hariwake... red has been difficult to establish in the metallics. Yellow has been able to remain pure in them, albeit marred by orange specks oftentimes. (The red Kujaku is fairly unusual, but can be found.) The red-eyed Kigoi gives a great yellow, but it is due to a form of albinism that inherently cannot be transferred into Utsuri. An occasional koi will have yellow as a passing stage; and rarities, like the 'yellow Shusui' always draw attention. If a deep, pure yellow is created in Showa, I think it would be a knock-out. Maybe it will happen someday. An orange Showa is just a Showa lacking the intensity we have come to expect of the variety. But a true yellow etched with lacquer black against white would have a brightness quite different from the drama of Showa.

Good luck with your ol' yeller one.
