Here's a pic I took with my newCanon Digital - talk about candle/needle pruning ! This one took three days! I have a few others (Ithink 11 more) that I'm still working on to include, pines, J. Maples and a couple junipers - besides the bonsai! Takes me all spring just get things back in shape!

Gorgeous Gardens!

Gorgeous gardens I see here. We have a Wisteria, but further away from the pond - in the side yard. We also have a white pine in the back, not close to the pond. We just planted six podocarpus at the back of the pond, and now annuals in the front. Just trying here to figure out what we want for permanent around the pond. I'd like a mugho pine somewhere - or maybe more than one. We have an azalea tree at the corner. If only I could get away with some fern around the waterfall. Our pond was constructed only last January, so most of this is all new to me.

Here are some pictures I took this morning of our backyard. I love this time of year when things are blooming and the yard takes on a life of its own.

Thank you Lawanna, we are always under construction in the back yard. Seems like as soon as we think we are done, Frank decides to do more renovations, the next project is to take out the 2000 gal pond and expand it to around 4500 to 5000.

Showa was measured in February at 30.5 " and chagoi is probably around 30" we have not pulled her up since we bought her.

Thanks for sharing Nancy. Just when I thought I was content w/ my backyard, you have to go and show us your gorgeous backyard, so now I have to persuade my wife to move again so that we can find a more permanent home.

BTW, please tell Hung I said hi. I was so busy w/ helping out w/ the NWKG Club show that I didn't have a chance to mingle w/ him. My wife and I will fly down to the LA area for a few days in September/October so I will definitely stop by and say hi.
