A time to think about those that paid the price ultimately for our freedom.

How strange for the "greatest Generation" to consider that in less than 70 years after world war two, how our nation and japan are now military and economic partners.

How we have never really healed the hurts of those americans who were locked up during the war in concentration camps. No unit in world war two ever came close to the awards like the 442nd...." go for broke"......

How much we love this hobby, and how much the joy of koi unites the world with a common bond that transends cultural and geographic differences.

Thank-you to our veterans for the gift of sacrifice for your country
