Just wanted to congradulate Dinh on winning one of local dealers judging contest this past Saturday!!! Well it wasnt a clear win, because KoiCzar aka Mike P tied in points, so a spin off was held and Dinh won. Anyways, congrats to all involved and I hope all got the koi food deals of the day!!!

As Dinh tells it, Anne helped in picking the winners in a couple tanks. So, if Anne got those two right, that means Dinh got THREE RIGHT!! I demand a recount!?!?!?!?!?!J//K

The event was a great time had by all. As usual, the food was great, and the BS sessions with fellow hobbyists even better. Judging was tougher this year than in previous ones as there were 4 of 8 tanks with various varieties mixed together. The other 4 tanks were all very nice tosai Kohaku (Ito Farm), Sanke (Miyatora), Showa (Isa Hajime) and Shiro (breeder unknown).
I would guesstimate approx. 500 people attended during the course of the day.

Yes, Tony, it seems like everyone got in on the koi food sale. How can you miss that one! I've never seen so much HiSilk go out the door. I think they refreshed the two pallets twice. So, maybe around 6 pallets of food. That doesn't include the Sweet Potato, Silk worm and Tom's own brand of food! It was crazy! Sometimes the cash register (2) line was 5-10 people deep!!

Hi Mike, you say Sanke and Showa not from Ito Farm? I bought ones of his Showa last week and try make one contest myself with ones from Tsekoi, one from Ogata farm and will have ones from PSkoi. After a year we will have result. Do you know anything about Showa breeder( Isa Hajime)?
