I have a similar set-up in a watergarden that is about 400 gal and houses gold fish. I'm not sure of my pump size but it is probably doing about 500 gph. I installed an 18 watt uvinex into a non-savio skimmer on a DIY. That was 3 days ago with clarity at about six inches because of green water. Today, I can see down about 18" although it isn't completely clear. I also did a 20% water change today so that may have something to do with it too. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well it been running for like 2 days now and yesterday i did a water change and now i can see my koi at the bottom of the water. I have the pondmaster 950 pump and a turbo twist 6x 18watt UV so hopefully it going to help with the greenwater. I have a Shusui , and a Purachina in there so i want to be able to see them .
