He lives in Niigata, he is not known for koi, but well known for this type of Aquarium Design......

no, I've never been, but I was at one of this distributors in Chiba. very inspiring !

I have an eight foot 179 gallon custom amano style tank in my kitchen ( no frame-all glass). It is only 20 inches high and 24 inches back-to-front. It is lite with 12 T-5 daylight bulbs and is below a sky light. 50 cardinals and a few others. Planted with low species only and six natural rocks that look like mountains. I'll take a picture when I get the algae under control. JR
