Testing at Pan Intercorp

FYI

All tests came back negative at Pan Intercorp.

More details Koi.com - Re-testing Update

*phew* and I'm happy for them.

It's a good day for Joel and company. This will probably end all the speculations now that his facility is free and clear of the disease.

Thumbs up

I doubt it will truly put an end to the speculation on "certain" forums, but it is wonderful news.
Important to me is the fact that this is a "re-test" of fish that had already been properly quarantined and tested just to be on the safe side. Joel went the extra mile for his customers and he did it up front like a "real man". That to me says a lot about the level of confidence people should continue to have in Pan Intercorp.

Excellent news.

And, yes, speculation will continue in some quarters. Eventually, like a marble on a roulette wheel, the guesses will be correct about some instance, and then we'll never hear the end of it.

I'm so happy for them. I would rather buy from someone that goes the extra mile, puts everything out in the open and takes care of their customers.

Kudos to ya'll.

While you know my feelings about the notoriously unreliable tests out there....I beleive they did the right thing and I'd buy from them. Nice to see a bit of honor in what has become somewhat of a disreputable business. Joel is a class act.

well actually Joel's 'may be' a nice guy, a class act and all the rest, but in this case, I'd say he was a smart businessman. Joel thinks ahead. He always has. He'll be fine, and at one point among the importers, maybe ' the last man standing'. So certainly hopes of his failure coming from the competition and coming from some of the Boo birds were under estimating his capacity and position in the food chain. Fleas nipping at the big dog, really. JR
