Spawning all the time!

Our pond is 4000 gallons and about 7 years old. Our koi usually spawn twice during the summer. In the past 3 weeks they have spawned at least 4 times. We do water changes after the spawning, clean up the pond, and within a few days they're back at it. How often should we be doing water changes, adding the bacteria, salt and water conditioners? Any thing like salt peter for fish(LOL)?

Sounds like it is time to separate the girls from the boys.

I do not recommend it, but if you get really desperate, Pro-Form C or other formalin/malachite green combo at about 25% the recommended dosage for treatment of parasites usually gets them out of the mood. ...There are inherent adverse effects in any such use of this type of product. I mean it when I say 'really desperate'. BTW, think on the bright side. No egg-bound females this year.

I would probably separate them before doing that. I have two sections of the pond that would do that. I'm considering such a thing.
