Koi age

I am wondering if anyone has any old Koi and how does it look? When I say old koi, I mean kois that are over 10 years old.. I have heard that they live to 50 years? If you have a very old koi and can share some pictures that would be great.

Thanks,

Hello blueocean . . .

FYI: I've read that a more realistic life span for nishikigoi kept in excellent conditions would be 25 - 30 years of age.

No pics, but my oldest oyagoi is a doitsu sanke and she is about 38 years old. She is still a doitsu sanke but she does not look as good as she did when I purchased her in Niigata 16 years ago. I was old by her owner that she had lived most of her life in a hotel pond in Tokyo, she was 22 when I bought her.
