I like it! Nice body, great shiroji and alot of underlying sumi.

I get a few Dainichi every spring and have not been disappointed in the good ones.

Welcome to KB, where are you?

Interesting, I had a dealer once tell me that I looked like a female........I ran.
This showa looks like something I used to buy. Great color and male. Four years from now you will not be able to give it away. Enjoy....it's worth a try.

Why this koi ? you prefer male koi ?

I will only consider this koi if it is priced below $200 USD for learning purpose. If you like male koi, ask for one from momotaro's male pond. Russ, how much is momo asking for any of those from that pond ? $5 ?

My main concern with this showa is that I'm not 100% convinced, from the photo, that the head is straight.

Welcome to KB, where are you?

Hai, I am from Malaysia. Nice to be in KB. A lot to learn from.

Was informed it is female, then again he(the dealer) could be wrong. Will try to find out again next time I bowl it out.

Thanks again for all the comments.

I actually spend more than 200US for it. ??!!
