I wanted to welcome and congratulate Don & Brenda Chandler, for stepping up to the plate, and offering their assistance to the board. I am sure they will do a wonderful job in helping to promote the hobby. With the current board and Don & Brenda's arrival I am sure that things will only improve.

Brenda and I attended the KoiUSA meeting last Tuesday -- and we're looking forward to attending many more.

As strong supporters of the Associated Koi Clubs of America (AKCA) in general, and KoiUSA magazine and Steve Childers (its Editor) in particular, we are deeply committed to helping overcome the challenges facing these organizations today.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the AKCA, the purpose of the KoiUSA organization is to provide a quality magazine for the koi hobbyist at a reasonable profit while helping to provide financial stability to our non-profit AKCA parent corporation for the purpose of promoting, creating and enlarging the hobby of keeping, breeding, appreciating and exhibiting koi.

If you have any thoughts or questions as to how this mission can be best accomplished, please don't hesitate to contact us.
