I have a Kohaku from him, and it is very nice, I am surprised after seeing his success with Kohaku that he is now breeding only Sanke and Showa, but if his results with those turn out anything like his Kohaku line did, it will be something spectacular in the end.

He is so open and honest about everything, I am sure he will reach success.

Love to see a picture of your Kohaku, what dealer is bringing in his fish?

    An excellent article, valuable insights,

from the title I had hoped to read more of the facilities and what they regard as limited space, which is my problem.

I look forward to seeeing the 2nd part.

breeding koi in a limited space

    Brian,
I admire the dedication and effort that niche breeders like this have. It is their commitment to a high aesthetic and your reporting that keep the hobby interesting for me.

I met Takahashi san properly for the first time the weekend before last when we in the Philippines together. I'd hoped to visit his premises upon our return. Unfortunately with snow closing in on Narita that morning we made a quick exit for Niigata.

Hope to get to visit sometime, real great fun guy!
