I saw another book at the Chicago Koi show which showed the varieties of koi throughout their various years of development. I think it was a book out of a series. Anybody know what that book might be, or any books written by the Japanese about breeding period would be helpful.

I believe the book you are referring to is Kokugyo Volume II, written by Kodama.
