They are lookin' mighty fine Bill. The growth is very good as expected, but the overall quality of each one especially in terms of skin is what really gets my attention. You've already told us you were finishing them with EA One, so now tell us what changes you saw when you switched to it. Do you see a big difference in where they were before you made the switch and now?

A fine example of what can be accomplished when buying tosai! Some amazing fish Bill, and I agree with Larry. The skin/color looks amazing! Such a nice soft looking shiroji and jet black sumi....

What are your predictions for longevity on these fish?

    Congrats,

    Grant

    Larry,

Even when feeding the Saki-Hikari the skin was a bit off from what it was feeding the EA...............

When I received these koi they had been fasted for sometime, I started with EA ONE due to the fact Mike Murphy's (SmithvilleMike) Shiro's would start in my QT as he did not have one. Mike felt obglated to "supply" food for a payment....that was not part of the deal, I did it to help a hobbyist out.
But gracously accepted the food and was willing to try it

After it was gone Mike then brought over the Saki-Hikari. The shiroji after a week did not lok as soft. But as it did not look all that bad used it all up and even some more as the growth was as good as when feeding the EA One.

But when Ryan & Duc started the talking about a Texas contest......well I felt as if I needed every atvantage against the skills these two hobbyist had......

So prior to the show (30 days) back on the EA One................even the judges were a buzz of the softness of the skin..............but at last years show they said the same thing about my Brett Shiro.............so water also has to have a great part in it. My water is limestone based and some of the hardest in the state. Great for sumi...........and I guees goo for shiroji too...............

So can I just through out beginners luck too

I think to try the EA Show would be a good thing to see if its the food or the handler.....................
Note: I have not feed the EA Health.............

    Hey Grant,

Well one is going to be history as he is not going to be allowed to stay with the girls........

    # 124 is still loosing sumi on her head and I believe will loose more. But they are only two years old.
    # 62 should fill in on her face in say.....................3 years.
    # 93 is my yellar headed one so we shall see if in 3 years is is the Swan.

I would like to put 2 of the girls into the mud up in Oklahoma # 124 & # 62, and leave the other girls he and see what happens in the "big water" as Ryan puts it.

    # 62 as Junichi San puts it has "sexy" tail tube. Mud could only make it down right provocative...............

I guess as I am unable to go to Louisville this year and Dallas changing there show to that slot.................might just have to drag the girls up and let them strut there stuff..........

Thanks for the vote of confidence Jeff!!
