A couple of first thoughts

I am really pleased with the Shiros, they arrived in great shape. Thanks Mystic.
Thunder has some great skin. The whites are very nice and so is the sumi. It will be interesting to see how the patterns change, Thunder already has more sumi on his face.
Lighting is even better than I imagined.
The sex is very hard to guess at this age. Thunder I really go back and forth on, the shape of the pec's could go either way. The body all depends on the angle that I am looking at.
The other one Lightning, I do think is female, going by body shape and the pec's.

I had to choose from 50 different shots to come up with these pictures.

I hate to post this but, I lost my two koi. Three days ago I replaced my bottom drain to make things better and smaller. I still didn't get the openings small enough. After three days with no problems in the qt we found them inside the pipes, they did not get to the pump ,but they were just too beat up.
Good luck to the rest of you and check those drain openings. This is the first time in four years that I have lost a koi this way. I've never had this problem before.
