Oh no concerns here. I'm delighted that I'm seeing and learning things so soon! I was expecting changes along the way, just not as immediate. It's fascinating. Figure on daily pictures as Mikado goes through her quick change routine.

I'm trying to get some good shots of the Little Blue. If shiroji rises, it's doing so now, as is a little bit of sumi on its cheeks and dorsal area. We'll see if this ugly duckling turns into a beautiful swan.

The Tancho is a porker and the shiroji is getting brighter by the day. No great shots of it either--they're fast little buggers and the IR of the camera makes them move when the camera is trying to focus. 99% of what I'm getting is blurred to some degree....

Tancho is getting rather art-worthy. Just a little experimentation outside my usual style...

Thanks Meg

I was trying to give it a chirimen silk kind of texture, like my kimono. I also toyed with the idea of putting 'tosai' underneath 'Omosako," but figured it was pretty self-explanatory as it was. Less is more, methinks....

Thankie! I'll be posting more as these babies give me good material to work with. I'm obsessing on the Tancho at the moment... (Gotta give it a name...it hasn't named itself yet, other than Tubbie, and that just can't be it...)

(I suppose I should never be encouraged to post art in my growout thread, but this is kinda part of it...)

Or a little closer...
