Thankie! Yep, an aquarium comes in real handy for those up close and personal "life on a koi's level" pics....

The Omosako group has a new set of neighbors just moved in.....

And the Tancho gets hip-checked by Toby, my biggest SJKoi Sanke, who clearly will do anything for silkworm pupae...*LOL*

Cold, windy and threatening rain outside...a great day for working on art....

This is what I get as soon as the tank light comes on in the morning--a mini-school talking at me from behind the looking glass, and the subject is food.....

Beautiful pixs! Koi sure do look different when viewed sideways than from the top! Your babies are so pretty! Still kicking myself in my Asian rear for not participating in this forum.

Thanks Lam. It's the only chance I'll get to take side shots of them, then they're outside for the rest of their lives. Needless to say, I'm taking advantage of that photographically. Maybe the next growout you can get in on so you can give your rear a rest. This is just too fun....

Thanks Sandy. These are the four little 2-3" pearl gin/Matsunosuke gin tosai I received from Richard for Christmas. They're almost as big as the Omosako group now, so I moved them in together to compare and watch grow until the weather gets warm enough for them to go outside. They are all growing up so fast!
