As many baby wipes as it takes. That's what I've learned so far. Just keep grabbing for another baby wipe.

Larry, I will try to get active on the breeders forum this year. I've enjoyed those threads from you and others and have meant to contribute. Hopefully this year.

Most of my contribution has been along the lines of "how to stumble through", but it is a learning experience nonetheless

I don't suggest making too many commitments of your time just yet! You may find yourself pleasantly stretching your time farther than a piece of saltwater taffy as it is - LOL!

Congrats, Jeff. She's beautiful.

Forget the fish for the next 24-25 years. You have college to save for now.

A couple of verbal updates at the beginning of the thread. Temp is low 60s and they are eating a little. Every day seems to bring a new bit of sumi.

In other news, the girls are seeing potential in the new koi keeper.

Jeff

That last pic is great! Now that's how to raise a tategoi! Let 'em see what the future holds as soon as possible so they grow up in the hobby sooner. Keep up the good work. Looks like she's doing just fine - and so are you!

Cool shot. Even your Koi know a real tategoi when they see one

Thanks guys--

I'll be 40 this year. Took me a long time to settle down and have the guts to raise a child. So far I have to say I had no idea it would be so entertaining and affecting.

Couple shots of carp:
