    Omosako Shiro Grow-Out

    Koi Info: Breeder Omosako
    Brought home 1/24/08
    QT=1000 gal @ 50-54&#176; 12 koi=100 plus inches of koi in it from 4" to 20"

    #126 Shiro was 5⅞" on 1/24/08 now is 9" 6/24/08...

    T Showa t191 was 8" and now 10"
    T Showa t185 was 4" and now 6"

    When I received t185 the right pectral fin was split pretty bad, it healed very nice...

    t191 jumped out of the net when I was pulling it out for the picture, now its right pectral fin is split.....

    I went from killing 100's of tons of fish as a commercial fisherman,
    to trying to keep a few Koi alive

    Wow, beautiful animal. Must be a thrill. I used to want to try ocean fishing, but now that I spend so much time with fish, not sure if I could. You do it for fun anymore?

    No...

    The fun time was at the unloading dock
    It looks a lot easier from there.
