Here are the details: Eastern Nishikigoi has around 100 Ogata showa tosai. I will post photos of all of them this week. Each will be numbered. The price for each will be $80 and thats a very big discount price (plus shipping if needed) and you can buy a max of 3. For the first one that you buy your name will be put into a box. All the names will be pulled randomly and you will pick from the selection in the order your name is pulled. For additional koi that you buy your name will be put in a box and the names will be drawn randomly and that will be the pick order for people's 2nd and 3rd koi. After a years time a winner will be announced based on photos and the information that you will provide. If you fail to provide the information and photos by the deadlines then your koi will not be judged. This board is full of honorable members so I don't think we'll have a problem using the honor system for this.
So who does the judging?
Well, we thought the best judge for this would be the Ogata. So Ogata will judge the winner based on photos and the information provided. The Grand Champion will be based on a combination of things and not just whichever is the largest.

$500 gift certificate from Eastern Nishikigoi
Are there other prizes?
Yes there are. There will be a prize for the largest and the smallest and some others that will be announced at a later date. Prizes will come from the Ogata silk worm koi food line.

Who do I pay for the koi and shipping? All payments for the koi and shipping etc will be made directly to Eastern Nishikigoi. Please give them your username here on Bito and I will check it for them to make sure you are actually a member. You must make your payment for your koi before June 15th. Shipping will be paid for when the koi is shipped. Eastern will ship via Fedex if you insist however it is at your own risk.
